Review by Amy Lotsberg Producer of Collected Sounds

While I’ve enjoyed many hours listening to Julie’s studio record, “The Waiting Room” I have always enjoyed her live music more. So a live CD is perfect for her.

She’s played a couple of shows at our house concert series and they’re always a great time. She’s a very dynamic live performer and a lot of fun to watch. Obviously, that aspect is missing from a CD, but the spontaneity of her live act is still here.

The production quality is very good which is not always the case on live projects. But it’s clear as a bell. Her voice is showcased nicely and sounds amazing.

It was nice to hear songs that I don’t already have on record (ie: those that are not on the one record of hers I own). I really like “Fate Says He’s Sorry”. Guess I’ll have to get all her previous albums now.

I love these songs and I love them live. I think you will too. See her live if you can, but if you can’t this is a suitable replacement.
