Review by Anna Maria Stjärnell

Dandi Wind is a singer by that name and an instrumentalist called Szam Findlay.

This ep sees Wind use her abrasive vocals over skitting electronic beats.

“Umbilical Noose” is catchy in a new wavey twitchy fashion.

“Balloon Factory” sees her recalling Poly Styrene of X-ray Spex to a dissonant backing.

“Ms 45” (named after a cult movie of a female avenger) has a touch of Marilyn Manson’s “The Beautiful People” in its odd martial rhythms.

The weird “Ueno Park Boogie” is out of tune in a very punk fashion.

A sick, twisted little video of the singer puking blood in an apocalyptic setting is included. As you can see this is not for everyone, but quite a few will love it.
