Review by Amy Lotsberg Producer of Collected Sounds
England’s Katie Marie’s has released a debut EP that leaves the listener wanting more.
The style is good Brit-pop/jazz with a pop/rock atmospheric edge. There is some nice guitar and piano work here and Katie’s voice is well suited to the musical style.
“Mirror” has a toe-tapping loungy jazzy feel. “Star” is mesmerizing.
I look forward to hearing a full length CD from Katie Marie.

Comment: I have this EP, and it took my breath away, katie marie is most deff an up and comming star, I have neaver heard anything that has brought a tear to my eye. Untill that is, I heard this EP! Words fail me when I try to discribe it. You can feel the emotion in each song which seems to tap into your very soul. I for one have order Katie Marie’s new album ‘Confession’, and very much look forward to speding the word of how great I’m sure it will be.
