Review by Amy Lotsberg Producer of Collected Sounds

I reviewed Santa Dog’s previous record, “Chemical”, and I thoroughly enjoyed it. But I think this one is even better. Such fun Indie Brit pop. It doesn’t get much better than this!

My last review mentioned the cool packaging and they do it again here. Unlike many bands that have a fancy wrapper, these guys actually deliver on content.

Rowena Dugdale has a great accent and actually sings with it, which I love. The tunes are reminiscent of some of the 80s’ great modern rock hits. There are some guitar sounds in there that I can’t help but think were inspired by the Smiths.

I can’t possibly pick out favorites because all these songs are winners. I wish they’d come out with a full length!

Note: oops, just re-read my last review and looks like I said the same thing back then! Maybe I should make a mix CD with both the EPs on it!
