Review by Amy Lotsberg Producer of Collected Sounds

I’m not sure what I was expecting due to the CD cover, but certainly something more New Age-y than what this is.

There’s actually a bit of a country twang to it. It’s quite prominent on the leading song “I Wish” which is a sweet song wishing someone “joy…happiness, everything your heart desires”.

Jenica Rayne has one of those easy, smooth, sleepy sounding voices. It matches the music very nicely.

“The Poet And The Dancer” shows off Rayne’s excellent guitar playing. laden.

“It’s Never Too Late” is a great catchy radio friendly song.

Her lyrics are very well written, very descriptive. They tell stories and share great imagery.

This is a very nice recording and if you like your folk with a little twang, check it out.
