Review by Amy Lotsberg Producer of Collected Sounds

Lara Halidae’s voice is as sweet as she looks, and with song titles such as ‘Sweet Emotion’ and ‘Candy’ you could probably guess that.

This is a solid, well-produced EP. Halidae herself produced it, wrote all of the songs and plays acoustic guitar on several tracks. Her voice is soft but pretty. The songs are nice, nothing too terribly intricate to the listener. Soft ballads with some harmony and at times lilting violins. With the exception of “Tell Me Why” which is a little more peppy.

Best song in my opinion: “Virginia”. A nice ballad that has some nice guitar picking and her voice suits this song perfectly.
