Karmacoda is an electronic pop band fronted by Heather Pierce and someone called B. Their new album is very accomplished.
“Something” uses a lazy beat to serve as a backdrop for Pierce’s lovely vocal.
“Wonder” is energetic and jazzy, B singing lead. Karmacoda’s trip-hoppy stylings emerge as very pleasing throughout.
“Delay the Sun”is wonderfully soft and allows Pierce’s sweet voice full reign as she sings of staying with her love.
Karmacoda’s debut is well worth investigating.
