Review by Sarah Bernardi
Having not been very familiar with Claire Voyant’s previous work, I was psyched to check out their latest effort “Love is Blind”.
When first listening, I was astounded by the overall sound, and I knew immediately that I, along with everyone else who lived unaware of this group, was missing out on something amazing.
“Love is Blind” is definitely one of those albums with something for everyone. It’s dreamy, dark, and beautiful, each track presents a fresh sound, while Victoria Lloyd provides her vocals to create memorable soundscapes.
“Pieces” is a great opener, dreamy and ethereal.
The final track, “Love is Blind” leaves the listener with a soft piano tune.
With Ben Fargen and Chris Ross, Claire Voyant have blossomed and found a style all their own, and have never ceased to captivate both old and new fans alike.
