Review by Anna Maria Stjärnell

Christiane Cargill of the great band Riddle the Sphinx has recorded an album of Celtic music that includes original material and traditional tunes.

Four Green Fields is sweet and uses Cargill’s lead vocal beautifully. The dreamy mood is well evoked.

Loch Lomond has a lovely melody and a crystalline vocal lead. Cargill really makes the song her own.

Gentle Spirit is a sweet song that’s delivered with great spirit.

Whiskey on a Sunday gets a cool reading and is a standout song.

Cargill really does the songs justice.
