Lily Kiara is an interesting performer; she’s a singer and dance artist.
Her new album sees her mix poetry and songs to great effect.
Cradle Me is a soft hush of a song that recalls Suzanne Vega.
New Day features a cornet played by Felicity Provan that adds to a great song.
Inside of This sees Kiara at her best, a simple voice and guitar song with great complexity hidden. She has a gift for making simple things sound good.
Promised Land is a whisper of a song, with a languid grace.
Lily Kiara has made a lovely album that deserves a lot of attention.
