Review by Anna Maria Stjärnell

Monocle play a spacey, poppy electronic music and they are fronted by the delightful Sunny Kim. They are a bit like Stereolab and boast truly memorable tunes.

Gaspard sounds futuristic and sweet and Kim’s vocals really suit it.

Music of Space is airy and uses its keyboard part well. The melody is truly great.

Wave Goodbye zips past with more excellent singing and a neat chorus.

The lengthy We Slip sees male vocals take over and is a languid epic of great charm.

Monocle’s debut is a lovely record that should appeal to many.
