Review by Amy Lotsberg Producer of Collected Sounds

Firstly, my apologies to Ms Falkner for letting this sit on my desk (so to speak) for way too long. I’ve been enjoying it since I got it sometime in August, but I just never wrote too much about it.

I reviewed Jerin Falkner’s music in the past. Her EP, [Almost Completely Happy] came out in 2006 and I really liked it. , so I was pleased to see a new release from her.

The melodies are lovely and the backing vocals add a nice layer of depth. She’s also got some techno-y toys at play here. But the shining star is Falkner’s gorgeous voice.

Count of Three is a lovely piano ballad with a nice melody and breathy vocals.

Let Down, and Copy Me are fun poppy dancy songs.

Flight falls somewhere in between the ballad and the dance song. It’s got a strong beat, and uses multiple vocals sounds, but still piano heavy. It’s cool, as are all the songs here.

This is a great EP that I think many of you will enjoy.
