Review by Anna Maria Stjärnell

Renee Cologne’s last album “The Opposite of” was a wonderful listen.

Since her absence from music she’s gotten married and recorded this record.

“Housewife” is a wry observation on suburban life, nothing too desperate just very human. Musically it’s nicely trip-hoppy and relaxed.

“Say She Sucks” is musically buoyant with real lyrical bite. Cologne has a lovely voice and it comes to the fore here. The song reminds me of the eighties a little.

“Hoops” is a sweet song, Cologne singing of love in a complex way.

Renee Cologne has a made a great album that will appeal to many.
