Review by Anna Maria Stjärnell

Young singer Thea Gilmore has already made her third album. She favours a mostly acoustic, bare sound that suits her songs fine.

This is obvoius on the Dylanesque opener “Apparition no 12” which has frightening apocalyptic visions. Gilmore can also write playful songs like “This Girl is Taking bets”.

Her versatilty is striking as is her talent. Gilmore is not to be missed if you like modern folk with bite.
