Francesca Gregorini has an energetic alternative rock sound and a sinuous voice. “Strange (Tale of Love)” is beautiful and haunting. Gregorini sings it sweetly despite the sad lyrics.
“Stupid One” is a real rocker. Gregorini sings it with conviction while the guitars form a powerful backdrop.
“Give My Life” uses a trip-hoppy sound, lushly orchestrated.
“Don’t Need Anybody” is a sarcastic song about an unemotional lover. Gregorini’s furious performance underlines it well.
The quirky “My Salvation” is instantly likeable.
The album ends with “Sugar Sex” which was co-written with Moby. It’s a sad and fluid song. Gregorini’s siren-like vocal gives it extra strength. It’s a fine record by any standards.

Comment: I heard some of the album on the internet and it is great. The problem is i’m not able to order it the website won’t come up. I’m from liverpool, england(uk)and my review is that it’s fantastic, my favourite song is strange.

Comment: CD is not only worth listening it’s worth lisening OVER AND OVER AGAIN.I’m happy that I have it,it’s always a joy to find a great CD that u can go through the whole album not just bits.It’s really amazing and I would be thrilled to go to her concert.And..umm…she’s kinda sexy too.

It’s a great CD. My gf and I both love it. But, y is it so underpromoted? The only promotions I ever see about Francesca is through her gf Portia. Is she going to stop hiding behind her or what?
