Review by Anna Maria Stjärnell

Kat Vipers ep packs a mean punch into its seventeen minutes. The singer/pianist infuses her songs with the demented spirit of Nina Hagen on a date with the Dresden Dolls.

Furiously paced opener “Pearls of Wisdom” is staccato tempo and howled words.

“Queen Bee” is equally fast but with more tempo changes than you can easily imagine.

“Like Mother Like Daughter” is haunted by all manner of ghosts.

The cover of “Summertime” closes the ep with a jazz club ambience.

Vipers can croon with the best of them if she wants to. She is a future star of some kind of that there’s no doubt.
