Review by Amy Lotsberg Producer of Collected Sounds

There is a definite spiritual angle to the band, and if you agree with/accept their religion you will be AOK with the music. If you do not, it’s not terribly preachy so you probably won’t be too offended. I didn’t realize there was a religious tone until I read the lyrics and saw the writing on the website. It certainly has a much more professional and polished sound than most Christian music has in the past.

That being said, Kathi Burg’s voice is gorgeous, I could listen to her sing all day. The music wraps itself around her voice (or is it vice versa, it doesn’t matter) beautifully.

This CD is filled with lovely ballads, strong pop songs and even some Celtic sounds. On “Undone” she incorporates bagpipes into the mix and it’s a fantastic sound.

If you like strong vocals, well written songs and are either OK with, or enjoy a spiritual aspect to music, pick this one up you won’t be disappointed.
