Review by Amy Lotsberg Producer of Collected Sounds

Wow much of the stuff I’ve been listening to lately has been on the maudlin, down-home side…this sure woke me up!

Glasgow, Scotland’s Tippi (no last name) has put out a fun pop record. The first track reminds me a little of a CD I reviewed a few years ago by an artist called Jerra.

Tippi has a sweet yet powerful voice that is shown nicely on these songs. The songwriting is probably best described at power pop.

It’s reminiscent of 80s pop yet does not feel dated, it’s still fresh, flirty, fun. If you’re in the mood for that, this is a good choice.

Stand out songs: “Boy”, “Better Days” and “Misguided” (lucky you, they’re on the play list so you can hear them!)
