Review by Amy Lotsberg Producer of Collected Sounds

True Widow is a three piece group (guitar, drum, bass) from Dallas. TX.

They call themselves Shoegazer and even easy listening on MySpace, but I would consider this a bit harder than “easy” listening. When I think Easy Listening, I think Engelbert Humperdinck or Olivia Newton-John not something like this. It’s got lots of driving guitar and beats.

Dualist is nice. It starts out quiet and grows.

Sunday Driver is also more downbeat.

It’s cool, just Little more rrrrawwwrrr than I am used to, but it’s good. I’d say mellow side of hard rock with a stoner feel.
