Review by Anna Maria Stjärnell

Gilli Moon made an impressive album with “Temperamental Angel”. The new one is equally stunning and more multifaceted.

The slinky cover of Inxs’ “Need You Tonight” shows Moon’s great voice at its best. She strips away all but the necessary ingredients and makes the song her own.

The rockin’ “Bop to the Rhythm” is another great song. It could make the dead get up and dance merrily.

The sensitive “Damaged or Broken” is even better. Moon’s voice carries echoes of others, but she has her own unique timbre.

There are many songs on “Woman” and most of them are exceptional. “The Seducer” shows a jazzy side of Moon and is another standout track. It’s an album that shows many interesting sides to womanhood.
