Don’t ask me how I missed this one. Ani is one of my favorite musicians. But I read about this in Entertainment Weekly about 5 minutes ago.
Ani gives birth to baby girl! Congrats to Ani and her boyfriend, Mike.

Righteous babe Ani DiFranco gave birth to a 7 pound, 8 oz. girl, Petah Lucia, at her Buffalo home last Saturday. This is the first child for the prolific rocker with engineer Mike Napolitano, a man whom she credits in part to her newfound happiness.
