New York City based singer-songwriter Skye Claire is performing an exclusive hometown gig in Greenwich Village on Tuesday, December 11, taking the stage at The Bitter End at 9 p.m. The venue is located at 147 Bleecker Street.
This date follows her successful 2007 residency at the famed club, where, due to her sizable fan draw, she headlined every Wednesday evening during the summer.
Truly living up to online indie tastemaker NorthEast In Tune’s praise that “this Skye is unlimited,†the critically acclaimed performer was recently listed in three key categories on the ballot for the 2008 Grammy Awards. Her popular song “Hope It Helps You Sleep was entered in the sections for Record Of The Year and Best Female Pop Performance. In addition, her seven-track 2006 EP Good Boys Don’t was among the contenders for Best Pop Vocal Album.
The results of the first round of voting will be revealed December 6 by the Recording Academy.
