Review by Amy Lotsberg Producer of Collected Sounds

First impression, after three notes…sounds like an 80s band. Now, wait, that’s not a bad thing. I am a child of the 80s…ok not so much a “child” but a young adult anyway. I still have a soft place in my heart for tunes like this.

Cipris has a very gutsy strong voice that can rock as wildly as the wailing guitar does. But she can also bring it down to a husky sexy purr.

The songs are rockin’ jump around the living room fun. I bet her live shows are a blast. This is a very small sample of her music as there are 5 tracks and one of them us only 33 seconds (and that one is called “Intro” but is track 4 which is a tad confusing to me. Unless it’s supposed to be the intro to track 5, but I don’t see the connection. Maybe it’s just me). But it’s a good indication of what to expect from Allison Cipris in the future and I for one am looking forward to hearing it.
