Review by Anna Maria Stjärnell

Madelin Zero’s rock sound is very energetic and her tough, but nuanced vocal is great. “Feeding the Butterflies” has a great Beatles-like feel and a carefree vocal from Zero.

“Are You Sure That You Want Me?” is funky and loose with a sassy delivery from Zero. “Its gonna get ugly” she warns, but she pulls you in just the same.

“Reach the Sun” is very suggestive with Zeros voice all breathy and the melody pure as spring rain. The slower “Right Here” is genuinely soulful.

“Sexpot Friends” is a very nice record and it grows with each listen to reveal new wonders.
