Review by Amy Lotsberg Producer of Collected Sounds

Seems a lot of the music I’ve heard lately has an 80s tinge to it. Whether it’s Interpol or Franz Ferdinand on the radio, or the music sent to me for review, I’m inundated with that old comfortable sound. Helps that I’m addicted to VH1 Classic.

There is quite a lot going on here. Not only the vocals, but some crazy mean guitar lines along with synthesizer, bass and drums.

“Wings” is a great little pop number that actually reminded me of the Smiths (something about that jangle-y guitar).

Looking for fun pop with a bit of a Brit sound, try out 3 Kisses.
